Fusion Student Challenge. Fusion Education & Innovation

Published:

Overview

The Fusion Student Challenge is an educational concept developed to connect university students with practical challenges inspired by fusion-energy research.

The initiative is designed around multidisciplinary teamwork, hands-on engineering and the translation of academic knowledge into realistic technical problems.

Objectives

  • Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between engineering and physics students
  • Connect academic learning with practical fusion-technology challenges
  • Promote engineering design, modelling and experimentation
  • Create opportunities for students to engage with the wider fusion community

Engineering perspective

The concept reflects my interest in combining technical education with practical engineering. It builds on experience from accelerator technology, experimental engineering and multidisciplinary student projects.
