This Master’s thesis in Mechanical Engineering was completed at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
The work developed a numerical technique for characterising the relative stiffness between liver tissue and a hepatic lesion, with the objective of exploring its use as a biomarker. The methodology was based on the gradient method.
